LUAU has an universal meaning, and it means a Beach Bash. A full day of activities, fun, interaction, good food, and good music in 100,000 square feet of oceanfront land. The LUAU Pompano Beach is not only celebrating “Samba” but uniting all the community regardless of origin and ethnicity. There is no LUAU without tribute Cover Bands performing Sublime, U2, Jimmy Buffet, Bob Marley, The Beach Boys, Men at Work, and The Police just to name a few. The SUNSET STAGE (beach stage) will be a musical journey into beach songs adored by many US generations. Fifty Exhibitors and Food Vendors with unique products, services, deals, and flavors will amaze attendees regardless of nationality. The LUAU STAGE (main stage) will showcase a summer fashion show and officially kick off summer, culminating with a concert under the stars, and under the moonlight with Brazil’s Samba Star, “Paula Lima”.
A beach day of good vibes, a day of celebration, a day of cultural integration, a day of unity between the community. Paula Lima is a Brazil’s Samba Star, nominated for the Latin Grammy Award, Carnaval TV Commentator, Judge with the Brazilian version of the TV Show “Idols”, Main Character of Brazil’s version of the Broadway show “Cats”, Judge at Miss Brazil 2016, with 1 song on Brazil’s TV Globo “Malhação”. Paula Lima brings a modern samba style to North America, infused with the energy of Bossa Nova, Jazz, R&B, and Funk.
